Yoshino Flowering Cherry (*Prunus × yedoensis*)
A fast-growing, deciduous tree reaching 20-30 feet in height and width, forming a broad, rounded crown. Thriving in USDA Zones 5 through 8, it prefers full sun to partial shade and well-drained, slightly acidic to neutral soils. In early spring, it produces abundant very pale pink to white blossoms with a light, almond-like fragrance, followed by glossy, dark green foliage that turns yellow with bronze tints in the fall. While it has moderate drought tolerance once established, regular watering and maintenance are essential to prevent pest and disease issues. Its stunning floral display and graceful form make it a popular choice for specimen plantings, and public landscapes.
14-20 inch tree in 5 1/2 inch deep pot.
