Chester Thornless Blackberry - Large 2 Year Old Bare Root Canes

One of the most winter hardy thornless blackberry variety... also one of the most productive. Great tasting berries ripen in mid-August. Bears one year after planting. Features large pink flowers. Great for jams, jellies, pies, and fresh eating. Performs well in USDA Zones 5-9...North or South. Plant 4-6 feet apart. Berries will not soften or lose their shiny color in hot weather.

Shipped Bare Root. Plants were 5-6 foot tall, but have been pruned back to promote multiple new canes for heavy yield next year.

We can ship to all states. We will not ship if your temperature is under 20 degrees, as the plants are sensitive to extreme cold conditions and may be damaged in shipping or delivery.

Ships UPS and USPS. Free Shipping to most locations. We cannot ship larger boxes or boxes to AK, HI, APO, US Territories, or areas considered remote, without a freight surcharge.

If your temperature is warmer than 89 degrees or colder than 20 degrees, we will hold order until temperature improves. Please put your desired ship date in Special Instructions to Seller at checkout.

All plants are inspected for quality prior to shipment. Plants are rarely damaged in shipping, but if they are, please let us know right away so we can help. If there is any plant damage, take a photo of the package and plants. This will help us solve the problem.
