Propagation Grade Pumice - 1/8" - 1/64" With Fines - Seed Starting - Cuttings - Potting Soil

Our 1/8 - 1/64" pumice is ideal for seed starting mixes, or cutting propagation. Add 15%-30% to a peat/perlite based mix. We hand screen to remove all pumice over 1/8 inch. Includes fines.

If you want a mix with less fines, order our 1/8" - 1/64 inch pumice mix which is double screened to remove over 50% of the fines in this mix. 

If you want a mix with little or no fines, order our 1/8" - 1/64 inch pumice mix which is triple screened to remove over 90% of the fines in this mix. 

Available in quantities of 15 Oz., 10 Cups, 5 Quarts, 3, 6 and 12 Gallons

15 Ounce quantities are shipped First Class, 10 cup and 5 quart and 3 Gallon quantities are shipped Priority Mail, 6 and 12 Gallon gallon are shipped UPS.


- Our 10 cup box will fill 1 1/3 trade gallon containers.

 Our pumice is a natural volcanic product mined in the Southern Cascades Mountains of Oregon.  You get only clean pumice... no rocks, roots or other debris.
     
Known as the "rock that floats", pumice has many tiny gaps or air pockets.
Our pumice is hand packed and bagged with a reusable tie for easy storage after you have used part of the bag.  If your pumice dries before using, moisten it to keep dust from forming. Dust from any rock or potting soil product should not be inhaled and can be irritating for people with sensitive lungs.
