Meeker, a medium sized, medium firm red raspberry that ripens in the mid season. Has a great raspberry flavor with a high sugar content. Adapted for fresh eating, the local fresh market, freezing, jams, jellies, and juice. Vigorous and productive. Grows in USDA zones 5-8 and zone 4 with Winter wind protection. Over 60% of the raspberries planted in the Pacific Northwest are Meeker.
