Large 1/2 inch berries that mature from a light green to a soft pink. A few thorns, but worth it for its rich traditional gooseberry flavor. Very hardy and good drought resistance. Grows in sun or part shade. Grows in USDA zone 3 - 9. In warmer climates grow in part shade.
Grows 3 - 7 foot tall with a 3 - 5 foot spread in full sun or part shade. Grow as a hedge or espalier against a fence or building. Very drought and heat tolerant. Easy to care for.
