Nova is a very winter hardy raspberry variety developed in Nova Scotia, Canada. It is an ideal choice for a summer bearing variety in the upper midwest and north or a fall bearing variety in the South.
This vigorous, disease tolerant variety is also heat tolerant and has consistent high yields of medium sized, very firm, bright red berries that ripen over several months. Excellent slightly tart flavor. Easy to grow, and is almost thornless. Grows in USDA zones 3-8

Plants were originally 5+ foot tall, but will be pruned to 10 inches tall for proper planting height. This forces buds from the lower cane and roots which will produce more fruit.
