A fast growing tree... will grow 3-5 feet per year. Plant as a specimen 15 feet apart, or as a hedge/privacy screen planted 6 feet apart. Green Giant has a rich, dark green foliage. Prefers moist, well drained soil in full sun or part shade. Wind resistant when established. Will withstand heavy snow and ice loads. Grows up to 50 ft tall and 20 foot tall, but can be hedged or pruned to a smaller size. USDA zones 4-8.
