Cavendish is a very winter hardy strawberry variety that produces large glossy, high quality berries good for fresh eating, jams and jellies and freezing. A heavy producer of Mid Season berries with excellent flavor.
Good disease resistance, including Red Stele resistance and resistance to Verticillium Wilt. Grows in USDA Zones 3-8. Recommended for all areas including Alaska.
