Large dark purple berries with a sweet near blueberry flavor, this new cultivar is an award winner for berry color, flavor and quality. Disease resistant and immune to mildew. Black Velvet will take a few years to start producing berries and will reach 6 feet in height when mature. Hardy to USDA zones 4-7.
