California Early Garlic
One of the most commonly grown garlic variety in the country, California Early is an excellent variety that produces large bulbs for culinary use, roasting or eating. Bulbs can weigh 3-4 ounces each. This early season softneck Artichoke cultivar variety also stores well, up to 6-10 months. Great for fresh market, home gardening and braiding. California Early garlic is an easy-to-grow softneck with a somewhat mild true garlic flavor.
Grows in a variety of climates, does especially well in areas with mild winters.
