Raspberry Root Stock - Most Economical
Raspberry root stock is raspberry roots that will grow new raspberry canes. It should not be planted until your daytime temperatures are in the high 50s and above 28 degrees at night. Or, plant in a greenhouse any time after Mid February. Raspberry roots can be planted until late July to produce plants before frosts.
Ordering for Raspberry roots will be opened up End of August 2026 for delivery in Spring 2027
We try to ship within a few days of an order from Late February until end of July. If you would like to order before your temperatures are right, Please LEAVE A NOTE at checkout in Special Instructions to Seller. Include a date of when you would like your order to ship. Roots will ship starting February 2027
Although not grown organically to meet certification standards, Organic Certification Agencies have told us they will certify raspberries grown from the rootstock as organic the first year, because organically grown Certified raspberry rootstock is not available, and they do not want organic growers to bring in diseases with new plants. Check with you Certification Agency for more information.
