It's springtime small, white to pinkish flowers will attracts butterflies, hummingbirds and bees and it's late-summer berries attracts birds One of easiest to grow manzanitas. Tolerates clay soils and sand, and any area with excellent drainage. Grows 6 - 8 foot tall and 10 foot wide in USDA zones 6 to 10.
Excellent as a sheared hedge, specimen, container plant, or bonsai. Its twisted red stems and narrow bright colored green leaves add interest to the garden year around. Deer resistant.
