Cascade Harvest raspberry

A new release from Washington State University. It has very large firm berries, twice the size of older varieties. It has very good flavor, excellent yields and superior disease resistance.

Cascade Harvest has erect vigorous canes and has numerous very small thorns at the base of the cane and is nearly thornless above 3 foot high. Its upright growth makes it easy to pick, prune and tie to trellis.

Fruit ripens in July in the Pacific NW. This variety requires 600 hours of chilling hours during the winter in order to set flower buds.

Suggested to grow in USDA Zones 6-8. Ideal for home gardens, U-Pick, Farm Stands and Commercial Growers looking for a very large, firm sweet berry that has a longer shelf life.

Has resistance to Raspberry Bushy Dwarf Virus (RBDV), and is moderately tolerant to Phytophthora root rot. Plants come with detailed planting, growing and care instructions...and you can call or email if you have additional questions.

Will produce berries next Spring.
