All strawberry plants are certified to be free from virus and disease. Although not grown organically to meet certification standards, Organic Certification Agencies have told us they will certify the plants as organic the first year, because organically grown Certified strawberry plants are not available, and they do not want organic growers to bring in diseases with new plants. Check with you Certification Agency for more information.
We can ship to all States.

Special info on Cavendish, Cabot and Yambu. There is a fungus sweeping the East Coast of the US that started in Florida. Florida State University has not found any cure or treatment yet. The fungus makes the plants worthless. You can see more information at this Univ. of Florida website... smallfruits.org/2021/10/neopestalotiopsis-disease-in-strawberry-what-do-
In the past, we have gotten these varieties of plants from a East Coast grower, but felt it too risky this year. So we will not be selling these varieties this year. The fungus is only in the SE and East from Florida to Canada and has spread as far West as Texas and Indiana. The fungus is spread by flooding, and the hurricanes this season have flooded a lot of the strawberry growing areas in North Carolina and Florida.
We do not want to be part of spreading this fungal disease. This Fall, a large number of East Coast growers could not ship plants because of the disease. There will probably be a shortage of plants this next year. All of our Strawberry varieties are grown on the West Coast, which has not been affected by this fungus.
