Large Tayberry plants - 2 year old Bare Root Canes

- Large, sweet fruit, Raspberry-Blackberry cross.

A cross between a blackberry and a red raspberry. Tayberry fruit is sweeter and larger than that of the loganberry, another blackberry and red raspberry cross. Large elongated, 1 1/2 inch, maroon berries have a aromatic, sweet-tart flavor. Use for fresh eating or smoothies... or cooked in jams, jellies, or pies Can be used instead of raspberries in any recipe. Rarely found in grocery stores, as the berries are too delicate to ship. Canes are vigorous and reach 6-7 feet tall. Hardier and less susceptible to pests and disease than raspberries. Grows in USDA zones 7-10.

Shipped Bare Root. Plants were 5-6 foot tall, but have been pruned back to promote multiple new canes for heavy yield next year.

We can ship to all states. We will not ship if your temperature is under 20 degrees, as the plants are sensitive to extreme cold conditions and may be damaged in shipping or delivery.

If your temperature is warmer than 89 degrees or colder than 20 degrees, we will hold order until temperature improves. Please put your desired ship date in Special Instructions to Seller at checkout.

Ships UPS. Free Shipping to most locations. We cannot ship larger boxes or boxes to AK, HI, APO, US Territories, or areas considered remote, without a freight surcharge.

All plants are inspected for quality prior to shipment. Plants are rarely damaged in shipping, but if they are, please let us know right away so we can help. If there is any plant damage, take a photo of the package and plants. This will help us solve the problem.
