Rosy Glow Barberry (Berberis thunbergii 'Rose Glow') Well established in 2 1/4" pot.
This versatile easy to grow deciduous shrub has variegated leaves of reddish purple with light pink and beige splotches, followed by brilliant red fall color. The sunnier the location it is planted in, the brighter the color. Low maintenance, growing to 3-4 foot tall and wide in USDA zones 4-8. Likes well draining soil and will tolerate heat and drought. Attracts birds. Small thorns line the branches - great planted as a barrier hedge, as a mass planting, or under a window.
Shipped dormant without leaves in fall and winter and with leaves in spring and summer.
